Bond Oversight
As part of the Proposition 39 requirements, Solvang School established a Citizens Oversight Committee that meets annually in February. It is the responsibility of the Oversight Committee to assure that projects and expenditures are in accordance with the projects that appeared on the ballot and were approved by the voters. All bond expenditures are audited annually by an independent audit firm. The independent performance and financial audits are reviewed by the Citizen's Oversight Committee.
